Rooms and Layout
The Karoo Condo is a ground-floor, two-bedroom apartment with two private bathrooms and mountain views. The main bedroom has plenty of light and sun. The second bedroom is compact, with one bedside table and a reading light. The open-plan living area has a sofa, a dining table, a wood-burning stove, and a large TV. The accommodation is new. It has air conditioning, heating, a private entrance, and key access. It is non-smoking throughout, has family rooms, and sleeps four.
Kitchen and Dining
The kitchen has a refrigerator, oven, stovetop, microwave, and plenty of cupboards. Tea, coffee, water, and milk are provided on arrival. A washing machine is also available. Meals can be eaten at the dining table in the open-plan kitchen, dining, and lounge area.
Outdoor and Leisure
The ground-floor unit opens onto a garden and a patio with mountain views. There is an inner courtyard and a compact braai barbecue. Outside chairs have stowaway cushions, and the low table works for drinks rather than meals. The wood-burning stove in the lounge comes with one bag of wood. The TV has no DStv but supports high-quality YouTube.
Location and Access
The Karoo Condo is in central Montagu, within walking distance of shops and restaurants. It is 200 km from Cape Town International Airport. Parking is free, but bays are first come, first served; three bays are close to the condo, and a second car may mean scouting for a spot.
Services and Policies
The apartment includes free WiFi, air conditioning, heating, and free parking. The host Chantal welcomes guests personally and communicates well. Fire extinguishers and key access are provided.
